MY FAMILY:

I live with my mom and my siblings. My mom’s name is Leila, and my siblings are Yuli, Sebastian, and Jorge. My mom cleans houses to make a living.

MY HOME & COMMUNITY:

Our house has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The floor is the ground, and the walls are made of wood. It is located the “Altos de la Florida,” a neighborhood in Soacha. We have electricity,  but there is no waste management. Water arrives twice per week, and we have to collect  it in containers to use it for cooking, bathing, and drinking. The weather is cold and the streets are unpaved.
