MY FAMILY:

I live with my mom, my uncle and my aunt. My mom’s name is Ligia. To support my family my mom works in cleaning houses.

MY HOME & COMMUNITY:

Our house has three bedrooms and one bathroom. The floor and walls are made of concrete, and the roof is made of metal sheets. It is located in “Guabal,” a neighborhood in southern Bogota, Colombia. We have electricity, but there is no sewer system. Water is delivered once per week and we have to collect it in containers to use it for cooking, drinking, washing, and bathing. The weather is cold and the streets are unpaved.
